You go from freedom, no specific schedule, to every hour being spelled out to what must be accomplished. It's even happening in the schools. The whole day is planned out; no room for spontaneity.

So on this sizzle Saturday, I want you to relax. Don't plan anything. Don't over schedule yourself. Sleep in. Stay all day in your pajamas. Have a movie day. Don't fret over the perfect eating plan and getting the exercise done.
RELAX! Focus on each other. Give attention to what deserves your greatest attention. And that's your family.
You might have to think about relax as not only a verb in doing, but as the noun to schedule.
We over schedule ourselves, especially our children. There's nothing better at rejuvenating your mind, your body, and your spirit than to relax.

Think about how you can use relax to stimulate and enhance your life. Make an effort to care for not just you, but your family.
You deserve to live life on purpose. In order to be your best selfie, you must relax! And so must your family.
I want to encourage you to schedule your relax. Have a day with nothing on the calendar. I use to live the over scheduled life, having my children in everything. Volunteering for everything. Living the expectations of others.
Let me ask you a tough question. Are you allowing your schedule to define who you are? Trying to be everything to everybody. You know there is something appealing and exalting when you are living a life of busy.
The life of busy can destroy relationships, marriages, and even you. Is it really worth it? Or are you worth more?
The older we get, the faster time flies. We get better at creating shortcuts in life. Technology and advancements help in this. But is it better?

Give yourself a vacation on purpose. Enjoy the beauty and magnificence of your life. The blessings bestowed upon you by God. Relax!
