Set this intention before engaging in the exercise:

• The purpose of [WRITING OR CREATING] is to process [REBUILDING TRUST].

• When you pair intention with creativity, you begin to break shame-based patterns and reconnect with truth.

Step 1: Pick One Small Thing

• Choose one action you've been longing to follow through on (breathing breaks, stretching, painting, drinking water, etc) —something that helps you ground, heal, and/or connect with who you have been created to be.

Step 2: Commit to 3 Days

• Not forever—just 3 days of consistent follow-through.

• Only make promises to yourself that you fully intend to keep. Let your yes be yes, and your no be no.

Step 3: Reflect Afterward

After 3 days, journal:

• What shifted?

• What has helped you feel safer in your own mind and body?

• What does trust look like in this season? Are you in a big circle season, or a small circle season? Both are equally valuable.

Step 1: Identify the Wound

• Has rejection resurfaced in your life recently?

• Ask: Who or what made me question my worth?

• Journaling Prompt: Write about a moment where rejection hit hard—and what message it sent.

• Where did this rejection try to take root?

• What lie did it try to plant?

Step 2: Speak Truth Over Yourself

• Truth isn't just for the polished version of you. It's for the panicked, anxious, second-guessing versions of who you are, too.

• SPEAK TRUTH OUT LOUD.

Step 3: Ask God (or your source)—What Do You See in Me That I've Forgotten to Trust?

Set this intention before engaging in the exercise:

• The purpose of [JOURNALING OR CREATING HOWEVER YOU WANT TO CREATE] is to process [REJECTION] and awaken my sense of belonging.

• When you pair intention with creativity, you begin to break shame-based patterns and reconnect with truth.

Step 1: Acknowledge the Wound

• Rejection doesn't always come from strangers—it can come from family, friends, churches, jobs, and even past versions of yourself.

• Ask: Where in my story have I experienced rejection?

• Journaling Strategy: Write about a rejection that still lingers.

• What message did it send about your worth?

• Is that message true?

Step 2: Rewrite the Narrative

• You cannot always prevent rejection, but you can interrupt the false belief it leaves behind.

• Truth: Belonging isn't granted by others—it's developed within.

• Write a new affirmation or truth statement that reclaims your worth.

• Example: "Even when others don't choose me, I am chosen and created on purpose."

Step 3: Rebuild Belonging from Within

• Belonging starts with being at home with yourself.

• Practices that build internal belonging:

• Creative expression

• Speaking life over yourself

• Boundaries that protect your peace

• Reminders of your God-given identity

Prompt 3: Strengthening Faith Going Forward

Faith requires active participation. Ask yourself…

• What practices will keep you rooted?

• For example: (Daily quiet time, Prayer or meditation, Spiritual community, Scripture or devotionals, etc.)

Journaling Strategy:

• Choose one small step you can take this week to strengthen your faith.

Step 3: Reflect.

• Who or what do you believe in, and why?

• When has your faith been tested? How did you respond?

• What is one way you can nurture your faith this week? Now make a plan to do that!

CREATIVE PROCESSING CHALLENGE: COMPARISON

Step 1: Write down your intention:

• The purpose of [JOURNALING OR CREATING HOWEVER YOU WANT TO CREATE] is to process my [COMPARISON] and/or [REFRAME MY PERSPECTIVE TO EMBRACE MY UNIQUE JOURNEY].

• When we approach creative processing with intention, we open ourselves up to real transformation.

Step 2: Engage your creative mind (aka-CREATE) while thinking through or writing down answers to these prompts:

Prompt 1: Reflect on Your Unique Journey

• Write about three aspects of yourself that you appreciate and value beyond external appearances.

Prompt 2: Redefining Beauty and Success

• What societal definitions of beauty and success have you internalized?

• Now challenge these standards and redefine them based on your values.

Prompt 3: Cultivating Self-Compassion

• Write about a recent time you compared yourself to others.

• How did it impact your self-esteem?

Step 3: Reflect.

• How can you celebrate and embrace these aspects to build resilience against comparison? How can you set boundaries that help you gain motivation instead of face constant discouragement?

• Now, write a compassionate letter to yourself, offering encouragement and kindness.

Step 2: Where are you waiting?

• Identify areas in your life where you're waiting for the "perfect" moment to take action (career, health, relationships, creativity, etc.).

• Ask yourself: What small step can I take today?

Step 3: List Small Steps Forward

• Take one of those areas and break it down into the smallest possible action steps to move forward.

• Remember: Done beats perfect.

Step 4: Reflect

• How can YOU embrace imperfection and focus on progress rather than perfection?

• Write about a time when imperfection led to something unexpectedly great.
