Emily sits down with FinGym's Head of People, Carolyn McManus, to discuss all things wedding budget on the eve of her wedding anniversary.

Carolyn's best tips for budgeting for her wedding were: opening a joint checking account; making a list of three areas that were most important to her; opting for a DJ over a band and a buffet instead of a sit-down meal; hiring a Mister Softee ice cream truck instead of a catered dessert and not having a traditional wedding party.

Even though weddings and large events look different now, the ideas can be implemented to smaller parties and events.
