Her ethos has been to create a positive circular economy that contributes to ocean pollution clean-ups through funding (they have funded through sales to over 4 tonnes of ocean plastic!), helps develop recycling infrastructure ( recycled performance material in shorts and skorts) and reduces world poverty (proceeds from every uniform sale goes back to a company that pays people in poorer coastal communities to collect ocean bound plastic). As well as using organic Fairtrade cotton, Ethical Yacht Wear has focused on not only creating an innovative and truly ethical product, but also a community in the yachting industry focused on making a difference!

Lauren is nominated for her huge contribution to both the Environmental and Entrepreneur ACREW Crew Award.
