You have the power to deliberately shape whether your emotional baseline is essentially negative or positive. 

When you live from a positive emotional baseline, people and events have much less power to ‘disempower’ you or bring you down.

Typical of people that operate at a positive emotional baseline:

 

• take action to address what can be done. 

• They consider how a situation could be improved or resolved.

• Believe that events in life happen for them for a beneficial reason rather than To Them for a negative reason.

• features feelings like love, joy, appreciation, gratitude, compassion and caring(amongst others).

• gratitude journal every day has been found to increase happiness by 25%

•  truly feel the gratitude

• Savor the sensory experiences - “That which you appreciate appreciates” - Having a bad day but you are in your local coffee shop? Stop and really appreciate your coffee, the armas, the silky texture, the taste 

• Compassion and acts of kindness

• Schedule pleasures - these are subjective
