There has been lots of talk lately about dealers overcharging customers for some if not all vehicles. There have even been moves from the OEM level to stop this short-sighted behavior from some dealers. The bigger question is how can you make the process transparent, best in class, and share what is going on with the customer creating happy customers and a great experience at the same time.

It is never about the price we pay, it's about the service we receive and more importantly being transparent with every customer. Does anyone like paying the resort fees in Vegas, the taxes in NYC, or the entertainment taxes at bars and restaurants in New Orleans?

I can honestly say, transparency and service fix these challenges. Hidden fees and surprises that are not explained and are not providing value and services to the customer are quite simply not the right move, especially as the automotive market continues to shift in 2022-3.
