After spending two weeks on retreat together, Adam and I have a debrief about my teaching approach and its impact.

Recorded in August 2024. Following some experiments monitoring heart synchronisation during practice, I share more about the heart realm and a dharma that is connected to this.

In this episode I do a coaching session with Jane Miller to demonstrate how we both use imaginal journeying in our practice.

The demo is a good example of how the body is made of imaginal and energetic intelligence, as much as it is made of physical cells. It also shows how much transformation can happen when you are directly connected to the imaginal layer of experience.

Some of the things that emerge are living in a different paradigm, the flame being out, tantric desire, evocativeness, the organising forces of the Universe, the imaginal realm, social imaginaries, death and shamanic lifecycles and being free from anxiety.

Some of the most important things we talk about are the fractal endlessness of experience; the precision engineering of the Universe and what it means to embody that when the darkness has been included; non-duality with meaning and how that leads to a whole experience that includes the intuitive elements; how feeling and embodying aspects of experience changes the nature of how insights are perceived; and the evolution of Buddha Nature and my role in that.

We discuss how to combine therapy, meditation and tools like the Enneagram on an awakening path and why it’s important to do so.
