Graham Robinson is a Toronto based illustrator and fine artist whose perspective seems to me rather sane, fascinating, and whole. Much of his artwork maintains a unifying theme around canoes, fish, journeys, and surrealism. It is exceptional. We discuss a great many artsy-fartsy things as well as addiction, becoming a man, exercise, and the role of using your body when it comes to these heady, intellectual pursuits us artists often find ourselves ensconced in.

Emm Gryner is a Canadian singer/songwriter, and now author. Her new book, The Healing Power of Singing, is a delightful journey of 25 steps filled with fascinating insight from her life—from getting a record deal and later ditching the music industry, to single parenting and touring as a singer with the late and great David Bowie. She even collaborated with astronaut Chris Hadfield on his famous cover of “Space Oddity”, the song that made history as the first music video filmed in outer space. I was delighted and honoured to speak with her at length about her life and what she’s learned.
Cesar Santos is a world class painter and illustrator, perhaps best known for his incredible ability in portraiture. Born in Cuba and later raised in the United States, he now resides in Italy with his wonderful wife, Valentina. To see his work is to be amazed. His highly instructive and insightful YouTube videos showcase his process and bring his audience along what I consider a most riveting artistic journey. That he has over 150,000 subscribers means I’m not the only one who thinks that. His art is sought after across the globe and his mastery has inspired thousands of artists all over the world.
