Sorry it’s just my old voice droning-on and on.
Life’s been busy for the past eight months… I explain about a bit of it in this update/start-over.
Plus: updates on the future of the podcast too!!

Hello and welcome back to Creatively Speaking from The Cosplay Shed!
In this episode I’m in conversation with Hannah, who is a creative working in resin (and many other mediums)
We discuss loads of things from how she started her creative journey and turned it into a flourishing small business, as well as mental health and the importance of supporting your local crafts people and small businesses.
Trigger warning: there is chat of mental health on this episode, so if you’re affected by this you might like to skip ahead.
That said, if you’d like to leave us a comment below then we’d love to hear from you. Additionally, if you have any suggestions for the podcast, or for people who you think you be awesome for me to chat to, then please contact me at: [email protected].
Thanks for listening, and I’ll see you next month!
Hello and Welcome to Creatively Speaking, the podcast that highlights local creative talent in your community.
My name is Simon and joining me. In this first episode I speak with someone I’ve known for almost 10 years - Steve! And let me tell you, he’s one incredibly creative and knowledgeable person, but you’ll find that out for yourselves.
Before that an apology: the audio is pretty awful. How does the saying go? Buy cheap, buy twice? Well lesson learned! Please bear with me, it will improve.
Secondly why this podcast? Well because we’re surrounded by creative people and don’t know it. And, I thought it’s about time that someone highlights it!
This podcast is all about art, design, poetry, music, writing, crafting, painting, illustrating, acting, performing, singing, dancing, popular culture, and much, much more besides.
Finally, I hope that these podcasts can serve to inspire someone to try something new. They might want to paint, start writing, cosplay, compose a song or poem. They might want to start resin crafting, or knitting; that’s what this podcast is all about. Hopefully inspiring people to start something new.
A huge thank you to Steve for joining me, and another huge thank you to The Purple Dog for putting-up with us!
I hope you bear with the podcast, enjoy it and join me for the next one soon!
