Sometimes, you don’t fall away. You just fall asleep.
In Gethsemane, Peter had the will to follow Jesus—but his strength ran out. Jesus reminds us that staying awake isn’t about having more grit or trying harder. It’s about learning to watch, pray, be honest about what we’re carrying, and surrender it to God. 🙏
Sometimes, surrender means stopping the “kaya ko ’to” act and admitting that we can’t do it on our own. And here’s the thing: prayer isn’t what we do after we wake up, it’s what keeps us awake. 👀
