Creativity thrives within the boundaries of constraints. It flourishes and reaches new heights when there are limitations in place. Have you ever noticed that having unlimited time, resources, or ideas can sometimes lead to a creative slump, leaving your mind scattered and unable to produce anything we like?  In this episode, I delve into the power of constraints. How do they actually help us? What benefits do they bring? How can we intentionally impose constraints upon ourselves?  “When you know what the limits are, you can explore different possibilities without the fear of failure.” - Miriam Schulman Constraints imposed on your work increase your creativity by:  focusing the mind  facilitating originality  encouraging risk-taking  increasing resourcefulness  “Make that commitment to yourself. Doing what you say you’ll do will increase your self-trust, which will ultimately increase your confidence.” - Miriam Schulman As artists, we often find ourselves working under various forms of constraints, whether it's limited time, resources, project requirements, or others' ideas. However, we can also proactively practice self-imposed constraints to train our creativity and discover something new. I challenge you to experiment with some of the suggestions shared in this episode. I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised by what you can create, discovering something you didn't even know you were capable of.  For full show notes, go to schulmanart.com/260 ++++++++++++++++++++
