You might not know this about me but I have a romance pen name. I love the business of writing romance and I thought it would be fun to learn from a USA Today Bestseller what it's like to build and grow a romance business focused on Black women as the main character. Today I share a wonderful conversation with author Nikki Payne. I loved the two parts of this conversation-the audio that you're about to listen to and then the video conversation that I share on the newsletter. We talk about the recent success of a Kickstarter campaign that she and 7 other authors participated in that made almost $1.4 million dollars. I share the link to that conversation below.
