These episodes explore various cryptids using stories gathered from various sources, then applies an academic research method to find theories to find out what else they might be. So far, we've been unsuccessful in finding any concrete answers. This week your host, Glen, is going to tell you about the Beast of Gévaudan. Rural France in the 18th Century was plagued with attacks by an unknown creature. Over the course of 3 years, the French king and other members of the nobility attempted to kill it. In the end, the peasants managed to do what the nobility couldn't. What happened? Why did it take 3 years to kill the beast? What was the beast? Join Glen as he tells some stories and looks at all the theories!
