Welcome to What The Heck's Creature Feature! These episodes look at cryptids and folklore from around the world using stories gathered from various sources. The same method is applied to these as the main episodes! So far, we're yet to have enough information to prove or disprove any of the creatures we've looked at!
This week we're looking at the Wampus Cat. Thesis creature appears in both Native and Non-Native American folklore. First recorded sightings appeared in 1900 across the southern states. Two of them were even captured at points in the 18 years of sightings. Rewards were offered for the carcasses of them, but nobody ever managed to cash in. Who is Running Deer? Where were they seen? What does the Second World War have to do with it? Listen in to find out!
