Here is the homily I gave for the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the second in the series, "Be Consistent." As er hear in the Letter of St. James, we all need to be consistent in the way we treat others. If we profess Faith in Jesus Christ, then we must live that Faith at all times.

If someone is not in a State of Grace, he or she should not receive Holy Communion until he or she goes to Confession.

Yet we see so many instances of God caring for His people, despite their unworthiness. And He cares enough for us to feed us with His Body and Blood.

This change is directly linked to the loss of the sense of Sin. If we say Jesus is the Son of God, our lives have to reflect that belief by our turning away from Sin. And with that belief will be a return to reverence for the Eucharist.

Here is the homily I gave for the 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the first in the series, "He Really Meant It." For the next five weeks we depart from the Gospel of Mark and read chapter 6 from the Gospel of John. This chapter contains the Bread of Life Discourse. Coming off the momentum of our Eucharistic Congress, we see how we all need to grow closer to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Here is the homily I gave for the 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the 4th in the series, "Get Used to Different." We need to recapture Faith as given us by God. So many today want to see the miracles in order to have faith, but we need Faith if we want to see miracles.
