Here is the homily I gave for the 4th Sunday of Advent. This is the final in the series, "Do Different." This week we are asked to do two things so that we Do Christmas Different. The first is to regain our sense of awe at the Christmas miracles. The second is to work on being hospitable.

Here is the homily I gave for the Third Sunday of Advent.  This is the 3rd in the series, "Do Different." This week we are encouraged to Do Confession Different. So often we allow fear and shame to keep us away from Confession. Rather than focus on confessing our sins, we should focus on the Joy of Forgiveness. Rather than obsess about the process, we should be filled with Joy over the outcome.

Here is the homily I gave for the Solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. On this feast, we celebrate the Kingship of Jesus Christ, a Kingship merited through His Blood Shed on the Cross. As citizens of His Kingdom, we must live our lives set on one day reigning with Him in His Heavenly Kingdom.

As Catholics, we must do our best to know Jesus and what He asks of His followers. In this regard, we must be anything but ordinary.

In our readings this weekend, we are presented with 2 widows who trust in God and give back to God from their want. They are rewarded for their generosity. All of us should look deep into our hearts and ask if we really Love God unreservedly.

Here is the homily I gave for the 31st Sunday in Orindary Time. This is the second in the series, "Anything But Ordinary." In today's world, the most misunderstood word is Love. There are many reasons why, but suffice it to say that Jesus sees Love as Anything But Ordinary, and we should as well.

Here is the homily I gave for the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the first in the series, "Anything But Ordinary." Jesus becomes a social influencer in His time by calling disciples to Himself. Although He is a Rabbi, His ministry was anything but ordinary. Rather than use gossip, calumny, and detraction as His tools, He used Love. Unlike other teachers of His time, He treated every human person with dignity and respect.
