It's Capeside's Senior Prom!  And all of our Capesiders are headed out on a boat in the middle of the Creek where boyfriends can take their insecurities out on their girlfriends and older girlfriends can break up with their younger boyfriends. And you can totally get sloshed and nearly fall to your death! If you're into that sort of thing. 

Joey (Katie Holmes) is noticing Pacey (Joshua Jackson) being very distant. When Joey tries to confront Pacey during the Prom, he completely explodes on our girl in front of the entire Senior Class.

Gretchen (Sasha Alexander) finds out she didn't get the job in Boston which sets her on a course of trying to figure out where her life is going. So, she decides to break up with Dawson (James Van Der Beek) at his own prom.

The Witter Family is so dysfunctional. 🙄

Jen (Michelle Williams) convinces Tobey that Jack is interested in taking him to prom. When Jack retaliates by paying Drue (Mark Matkevich) to escort Jen, she decides to drown her sorrows--and almost drowns in the Creek!

Jack (Kerr Smith) realizes his feelings for Tobey (David Monahan) are becoming mutual. 🥰

We also talk red flags, 🚩 social media, and dream cheating with Tom Holland. 😍

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) worries about his relationship with Gretchen (Sasha Alexander) after she informs him that she applied for a job in Boston. 

Jack (Kerr Smith) tries to help Tobey (David Monahan) after he becomes the victim of a hate crime.

It's Senior Ditch Day! Joey and Jen go to New York. Pacey and Drue get drunk. And Dawson and Gretchen go on a road trip and get stranded. So many things happen to our Capesiders in this episode this week that our brains are doing mental gymnastics!

Jen (Michelle Williams) asks Joey (Katie Holmes) to be her keeper as she goes home to New York to interview for the Dean of Admissions at NYU. Only, Jen isn't really there for an interview. Jen is going to confront her father about what happened before her parents shipped her off to Capeside. 🍎

Pacey (Joshua Jackson) is trying to get caught up so he can graduate when Drue (Mark Matkevich) lures him away to go drinking at the local hole in the wall. Things turn sour when Pacey gets arrested for public intoxication. 🤮

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is grabbing life by the balls and goes on a road trip to nowhere with Gretchen (Sasha Alexander). When they get a flat and end up stranded in a strange town, these two love birds decide to have a conversation about where their relationship could be heading. 😖

We also discuss Senior Year of high school, whether or not we ditched, and how to "Fake It Til You Make It!"

This week we're talking Season 4, Episode 17, "Admissions."

Joey (Katie Holmes) got into Worthington! Except she needs $15k to actually go. Dawson (James Van Der Beek) has some money laying around, so he decides to spread the wealth to his old friend. But before she can accept his generous gift, she needs to tell him the truth. 😱💰

Pacey (Joshua Jackson) is starting to feel like he doesn't fit into Joey's life anymore. And Jen (Michelle Williams) is putting up a fight with Jack (Kerr Smith) about going to school in New York.

We have a lot to talk about in this episode. We reminisce about getting to 80 episodes as well as what we were feeling during our Senior years of high school and our path into college and adulthood in general. Somehow, life brought us together and made us BFF's so we could make this podcast for all of you!

Oh, and Jayme is pissed off about the Fishbowl scene. Go figure. 🐡

Which means, we've got an ALL-NEW Episode for you this week! Join us as we breakdown Season 4, Episode 15, "Four Stories."

We pick right back up at the ski lodge where Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and Joey (Katie Holmes) get left behind to deal with the aftermath of her deflowerment. Pacey wants to know how good he was in bed and Joey has nothing to compare it to. Which leads to one of the most ridiculous fights between these two. 

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is back in Capeside handling Mr. Brooks' funeral. Grams (Mary Beth Piel) attempts to help Dawson heal by telling him to spend some time with Brooks' stuff and maybe pick something out of his that might help in the process. We also discover that Dawson is going to be coming into a lot of money. R.I.P. A.I. Brooks. 😪

Jen (Michelle Williams) is ordered to go to therapy by the school? We're honestly not sure. She's not feeling the vibe with her new therapist, Frost, and decides to split when he calls her out about her issues. Jen decides to stay and figure out if she can actually be fixed.

Dawson & Joey run into each other at the movies. They decide to skip the film and walk around and talk like old times, like when they were BFF's. When Dawson flat out asks Joey if she slept with Pacey, she freezes up and isn't completely honest with her answer. 

We also discuss losing our virginity, the continuing moving saga and guys with no intestines. 💩

So, make sure you don't miss your ride back home or else you'll end up arguing with your partner about having an orgasm then later lying to your ex-boyfriend about your virginity.  We're recapping "Four Stories."

After Jen (Michelle Williams) slips on ice a few dozen times, she decides to break into the mini bar to ease her pain. Jack (Kerr Smith) joins her because he wants to do something reckless. Will one drunken night of recklessness ruin their friendship?

Joey (Katie Holmes) and Pacey (Joshua Jackson) have been building up their sexual tension for 13 episodes now. While Joey is argumentative with Pacey the entire weekend, he tries to explain to her that he's willing to wait until she's ready to lose her virginity. Everyone knows that make-up sex is the best kind of sex.  😉

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) is back in Capeside with a dying Mr. Brooks who made Dawson his Power of Attorney without him knowing. Now, Dawson has to make one of the toughest decisions of his life since the time he decided to break up with Joey for a BJ on a speed boat. 🍆🚤

Gretchen (Sasha Alexander) wants Dawson (James Van Der Beek) to meet her college pals. While out bar hopping, Dawson realizes that their age gap might be an issue in their budding romance. 🤷‍♀️ 

Mrs. Valentine (Carolyn Hennesy) forces Joey (Katie Holmes) and Pacey (Joshua Jackson) to go on a double date with Drue (Mark Matkevich) and ditzy rich girl, Anna Evans (Sabine Singh) If Joey agrees, she'll get the entire weekend off for the Senior Class Ski Trip. Things start to go downhill fast when Drue becomes irritated with his date. 🤦‍♂️😱😣 

Tobey (David Monahan) enlists Jack (Kerr Smith) to become a mentor in an after-school program which Jack agrees to. When Tobey invites Jack out for coffee after, Jack realizes that he's on an unexpected date. 😲😲😲

Happy #Friday Creek Talkers! It's FINALLY the weekend! 😄

Are you all settled into 2023 yet? Because we're definitely not!  Maybe this week's episode will help you out. We're recapping Season 4, Episode 11, "The Tao of Dawson."

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) finds an old letter he wrote to Gretchen (Sasha Alexander) while setting up his new baby siblings' nursery. Jack (Kerr Smith) convinces Dawson to remember what he felt when he was a kid and to give Gretchen the letter. We're hoping there's a voice-over and a montage.

Meanwhile, Pacey (Joshua Jackson) isn't too happy to know that Dawson and Gretchen have feelings for one another. While on a road trip to pick up her car, Pacey tries to get Gretchen back with her ex, Nick (Christian Kane). Too bad Pacey doesn't know what a F-Boy is yet.

Joey (Katie Holmes) gets trapped in the storage cellar of the CYC with Drue (Mark Matkevich) for the weekend. While Joey tries to find a way to escape, Drue seems pretty calm about the whole situation. 🤔

Dawson becomes concerned for Grams (Mary Beth Piel) when he discovers she and Mr. Brooks (Harve Presnell) are getting close. 

Jen (Michelle Williams) is still out of town at a Phish concert, alone. 🐠🐡🐟

We also discuss how we spent our holidays, Snapchat filters and if we believe in inevitability & fate. So, put on your seat belt, get ready to dodge your ex and make sure your tires are still attached to your car so you can get the HELL outta there because we're breaking down "The Tao of Dawson."
