    Kyle Clarkson :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, October 4, 2015
    "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." (1 Corinthians 9:24) Kyle Clarkson closes our Family Ties series with a message about the dash between the dates on our tombstones. Kyle presents the lives and legacies of three Old Testament kings to highlight the Biblical picture of living our time on earth that echoes into eternity, and a life worthy of the gospel. Kyle's message follows an introduction to Operation Christmas Child by Kari McLaren.

    Alan Crim :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, September 27, 2015
    "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in discipline and instruction in the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4) The third in a 4-message series on leveraging our position for God's kingdom, wherever we happen to be on the spectrum of family, Alan Crim speaks on parenting. • Family Ties: The Mission of Marriage
    Nick Reed :: Creekside Church : Sunday, September 20, 2015
    Marriage is not eternal, so why not focus your marriage on what is? Nick Reed continues our 4-week "Family Ties" series with a message on marriage based on Matthew 22:30 and 1 Corinthians 7:25-31, relating that the most important thing about your marriage is not actually your marriage. Earthly marriage is a picture of the heavenly union between the church and Christ, and all believers in Jesus, regardless of marital status, should look forward to and live in light of this truth. More information on the book Nick references, Francis and Lisa Chan's 'You and Me Forever', can be found at http://YouAndMeForever.org.

  • Genesis:Beginnings (Where Are The Righteous?)
    Kyle Clarkson :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, September 6, 2015
    God hears the outcry of the oppressed. Kyle Clarkson concludes our Genesis series with a message from chapter 19 and the destruction of Sodom, a city known throughout Scripture by the outcries over its lack of justice, mercy and humility. Where can righteousness be found? Not in Sodom (Gen. 18), in Lot or his family, or even in Abraham. From this Kyle teaches that God will spare the unrighteous for the righteous only because of the righteous one Jesus. Kyle's sermon follows an announcement from Mark Kline about small groups and Awana.

  • Genesis:Beginnings (Fearfully Bold)
    Nick Reed :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, August 30, 2015
    Is God our butler? Or is prayer meant to be something more than a way of getting what we want? Nick Reed preaches on the often frustrating and confusing topic of prayer from Abraham's bold and persistent appeal to God on behalf of Sodom in Genesis 18. Through relationship, persistence, and a healthy fear and understanding of who God is, prayer aligns not God's heart with ours, but ours with His.

  • Genesis:Beginnings (Set Apart)
    Tim O'Byrne :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, August 23, 2015
    God asked Abraham to do some pretty crazy things. As Tim O'Byrne teaches from Genesis 17, this included becoming circumcised at age 99, along with the males with him, to mark a covenant between God and Abraham's descendants. This man of faith obeys God, but also struggles with doubt when God promises a child to Sarah at age 90. God may be asking us to do some pretty crazy things too, and lives are changed when the faithful listen to God. But like Abraham, whose righteousness was credited to him by faith, we aren't saved by our acts of obedience, but Christ's (Romans 4). Tim's message follows an introduction to Fall small groups by Alan Crim.
