The villisca Murders took places in June 1912, The entire Moore family was blunged to death with an axe many times. The killer covered the windows and mirrors. Many speculated that who ever committed the grisly crime waited and hid in the attic to attack the parents first and then the six children right next door. Still till this day the case is unsolved on who killed the Moore family.
