Creepin’ It Reel Horrorcast

Holy time line skip! That's right slashers and survivor girls, we hit yet another jump in the Mr. Myers story. This time it takes out everything that was in the middle and says "nice try, but screw you". This go around jumps 40 years after the original babysitter killings and we now see a mentally scarred Laurie turning into a gun toting survivalist. Practicing her shot, and prepping for the return of The Shape. We also add in a nice handful of new characters to help flush out the story, that is actually refreshing and gives Michael more targets to slash down.

This week we have probably one of the oddest films out of the whole Halloween franchise. Mr. Zombie is back at it, but this time he cranks it up a few MORE notches. Continuing on with the aftermath of the night that He came home, Laurie and Annie are dealing with the lingering trauma. Michael is also having a very interesting time with the frequent visits from the ghost of momma Myers and a big ol' horse. All while a now famous Loomis goes on an exploitation - excuse me - book tour. While everyone else suffers, Loomis is taking in the cash. Join us for a bizarre and unique take on a very different kind of Halloween tale.

Back at it again in this Halloween franchise with one of the more bottom of the list films. Michael is back (duh) and headed back home (duh) and now has some openings in his schedule for some new clients. The new blood meeting the shape is the cast of a web show from Dangertainment, ran by Freddy (Busta Rhymes - FLIPMODE!), in a very before its time idea by having a group of selected college kids and following them through the Myers house letting the viewers join the journey via body cams. It definitely gives Michael something different to work with, oh and dealing with the kung fu.... watch the movie, it happens.

That’s right Creepin fans, we hit another detour in the timeline for Mr. Myers. It has been 20 years since the dealings with Laurie VS Michael and it has messed Laurie up so bad she had to change her name and move cross country. Well that ain’t gonna stop the Shape. He’s packed up his road snacks and head down to Cali to see his dear old sis. Remember, we are all entitled to one good scare.

So have you ever wanted a crazy cult curse in your Mr. Myers movie? No? Well too bad, it’s what this shin dig is all about. However we do have a young baby face Paul Rudd (not that he ever ages) How did we like it? Well…

This week, our Creepin’ heroes slip on Greg Nicotero’s face and take a peek at HALLOWEEN 5: THE REVENGE OF MICHAEL MYERS.

Often regarded as one of the worst of the HALLOWEEN series, we see Jamie go mute, Rachel go pantsless, and Loomis go full Daffy Duck in the fourth installment of the Michael Myers saga. And did I mention the stranger in black who wanders inexplicably around Haddonfield? No? How about random psychic connections? The mysterious appearance of Nordic runes? Sigh… buckle up. It’s another Halloween movie!

Mr. Kruger himself. We started this channel with the classic ‘84 film and we rounded out the franchise with the 2010 remake. So we have tallied up our scores from all of our reviews and ranked the films from worst to best… in our opinion. Just remember, don’t fall asleep!

Time to get divisive, controversial, and a little weird!

This week we close out A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET by looking at one of the most maligned remakes in movie history. Freddy is back and he’s darker, meaner, and er, pervy-er than ever! So naturally we have to dive in and dissect.

But does this remake of the 1984 classic really deserve as much hate as it’s been getting? Or is it time this movie gets an objective reevaluation?
