Landed in Haiti and was happy to be there. Some of you may be wondering what the process is like in the Port-Au-Prince Airport. At first you may feel lost, but there are plenty of people around to help you. So don't worry! Here is what my experience was like.
Please, Please, Please do your research before you go abroad. Check the CDC and travelers’ websites. Also check with your embassy in the country you are traveling to. Consult your doctors for vaccinations that you need, and what will work best for your hygiene preferences while traveling abroad. Save up at least $1k for spending money outside of your plane ticket, and pray to your higher power that everything goes as planned. Good luck beautiful people and fellow travelers!!!! Hopefully this helps someone.
The people of Haiti and what to expect!

I am an American giving MY OPINION about what I LOVE about Haiti. I hope through this channel you can see Haiti as I do through my eyes. I want to give everyone the ability to mentally travel there, and shutdown some of the stigmas that surround Haiti. Every culture is different and unique in its own way. That is what makes it SPECIAL!!!!
