We welcome Rev. Mark Winfield to the pulpit this week. Rev. Mark Wingfield is the executive director and publisher of Baptist News Global. Prior to this role, Mark was a regular opinion columnist for both BNG and the Dallas Morning News while serving as the associate pastor of Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas. He earned a journalism degree from the University of New Mexico and completed core studies toward his master of divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. We welcome Dr. Chris Caldwell to the pulpit this week.

Dr. Chris Caldwell was a pastor for 25 years before joining the full-time faculty of Simmons College of Kentucky in 2017. His goal in preaching and teaching is to allow the truths of scripture to shed light on the realities and struggles of everyday living. He holds degrees from Rhodes College, Southern Seminary, and Baylor University (PhD). He and his wife, Jeanne, have two adult children. Chris has a lifelong love of basketball, God’s favorite sport, and communicates fairly well in Spanish.
