This morning we begin our fall worship series called “Why Church?” During October and November, we will ponder the purpose of the gathered community and be intentional about our practices as the family of God. Pastor Heather will offer a message from John 6:48-59: “Being Fed at Christ’s Table.”

This morning we celebrate the liturgical Season of Creation. We will give thanks for God’s good gift, lament how creation groans, and focus on our role as caretakers of the earth. Pastor Heather will offer a message from Psalm 104.

This morning we conclude our Acts of the Spirit worship series. Pastor Heather will offer a message from Acts 28:11-16, 30-31: “The Spirit Commissions Hospitality.”

This morning we observe our annual ritual of blessing children and youth through our Back to School Blessing worship service. Pastor Heather will offer a message from Philippians 4:12-13 on this year’s theme: “You Got This.”

This morning we welcome Chris Meehan, Commissioned Pastor at Coit Community Church and author of several books including Joining Jesus: Ordinary People at the Edges of the Church. Chris continues our Acts of the Spirit worship series with a message from Acts 20:7-12: “The Spirit Restores Life.”

This morning during worship our Jubilee Fellow Sheila Witvliet will continue our Acts of the Spirit worship series with a message from Acts 19:1-17: “Another Pentecost: The Spirit Transforms.”
