Mr. D interviews Robin Griffiths who is a U.S. Marine veteran and author of the book "Burned In Babylon". They talk about Griffiths' struggles in life such as military deployment, on the verge of divorce, and getting blown up in Babylon. Griffiths almost died for our freedoms, but was given a second chance. The endeavors have allowed him to find peace in life through God, which helps Griffiths manage his disability and other traumas of war. He currently helps motivate others who face life's challenges by sharing his story and remaining thankful. The interview is an overview of the amazing book, which is powerful, raw, and astonishing. Mr. D interviews Ernie Mariscal who is a military veteran and an inspirational and motivational speaker. Growing up Ernie was on the path to destruction until he decided to turn his life around. Now he uses his personal experiences from child abuse, homelessness, depression, and U.S. Army to help others combat life's challenges. Mr. D discusses how police discretion works and when police should not take action. Some of the issues include a sticker on a Florida truck that read, "I EAT A**", marijuana arrests, and less police discretion due to body cameras. Let me know what police should not take enforcement against?
Gwinnett County Sheriff Keybo Taylor is currently being invesitigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for a 2019 extortion allegation between him and Anytime Bail Bonding. The incident occurred while he was campaigning for Sheriff.
Keybo Taylor demanded support from bonding companies and stated they would not be able to write bonds in the county if they did not support him.
Taylor was elected to Gwinnett County Sheriff and took officer in 2021, which is when he denied Anytime Bail Bonding's license renewal, putting them out of business.
