This week I will be talking about three murders that took place in Virginia and how DNA evidence helped break these cases that were cold for 17 years.

Just warning you, this subject matter is a little much and deals with the brutal murder of three very young children and a little bit of animal violence as well.

This week, I bring to you another case of familicide. I believe it was in episode two or three that I spoke about parricide vs. familicide, but to refresh your memory, familicide is murder or murder-suicide in which a perpetrator kills multiple close family members in quick succession, most often children, spouse, siblings, or parents. You can delve even deeper into what I’m specifically covering today with filicide (the murdering of one’s offspring) and infanticide (the murder of infants). I will be covering the case of Angela Camacho & John Allen Rubio, a couple from Texas who horrifically murdered their three children because they believed they were cursed and possessed by demons.

Thank you for all of your kind words, your patience, and for allowing me time to heal. Healing is such a process and it takes time. I needed that time. I am not perfect, but I am so much better than where I was a few months ago, so again thank you for being amazing, understanding, thoughtful, and just…I don’t even have words to describe how appreciative I am.

In this week’s episode, I talk about the Daegu Subway Fire that occured in the Jungangno Station of the Daegu Metropolitan Subway in Daegu, South Korea on February 18, 2003. This horrible mass murder left 198 passengers dead, and after public outrage, the officials of the Daegu Metropolitan Subway company took steps to update the infrastructure of their train stations.

I wanted to be honest with you guys and tell you what's been going on with me and why I'll be taking a bit of a hiatus until the end of February. Thank you in advance for being understanding!

This week, Keyerra does her first listener suggestion and talks about the murder of Ms. Daley, an Aboriginal woman from Australia who was murdered by two men by the name of Adrian Attwater and Paul Maris. Her case was mishandled by the criminal justice system in such a disgusting way, that it took the work of the people and the media to gain awareness for her in order for her to get justice.

Rest in Peace Ms. Daley
