A Missouri State professor is sharing his passion for sociology inspiring the next generation of researchers.
His hope is to help create societal changes that can shape the health of young people in college and support the aging process for people of color to live not just long lives but healthy ones, too.
Dr. Kyler Sherman-Wilkins, or Doctor K. as his students call him, teaches sociology at Missouri State University
Outside of the classroom, his research focuses on health disparities among older adults and how social factors play a role in the quality of life.
