1. How many Australian Disability Enterprise (ADEs) are operating in Australia? and are they meeting their obligations with the Fair Work Act, and the national modern slavery reporting requirements?
2. Disabled workers rights at work. Coercion, wage theft, and modern slavery How we close the legal loopholes used by Employers to underpay their workers.
3. Representation in the workplace. How are Disabled Workers represented in their workplaces in Australia? (Conflict of interest with ADE’s, job network providers, complaints process, unions etc)
4. Government regulation and oversight. Who’s investigating ADE’s are compliant with workplace and human rights laws? Is the ADE system sustainable and still a viable service type for people with disabilities? what legislative reform measure would best be appropriate to bring about change in this important public policy space?
1) Exactly how has it impacted on your daily living? 2) How is it fair to be paid below minimum wage rate because of your Disability? 3) How do we engage the ADE Management to raise our concerns with coping in such a subservient workplace environment? 4) What does our futures look like in such workplace settings as a Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) and exactly how best can we contribute to this future?
