I'm annoyed that the ending of Episode 13 is messed up I decided to edit and upload Episode 14 as quick as I could. So here it is! We revisit and go more in depth with the WWF arcade games that we talked about in a previous episode. WWF Superstars, WWF WrestleFest and WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game.
- The Big Dirty LB
Rumble Roses is the game of the week. A fun game, although one very much of it's time with the jiggliest physics you can imagine. We spend a lot of time on the news of the week after the reveal of WWE 2K23.
Edit: Unfortunately, there was an issue that caused the episode to cut off during figure talk. My apologies :(
A very special episode this week as we're joined by Freem to talk Virtual Pro-Wrestling 2 and Virtual Pro-Wrestling 2 freem Edition. But really, the discussion shifts to anything and everything as Freem also joins us to break down the news of the week as well as talk WWE games. Fun episode so please check it out!
Used to be you wanted to make yourself known, you proved your worth as a street fighter or hustler, we don't fight out in the streets no more. We're organized now, we too gangster for the garden so we've taken it underground, inside. I'm a business man and this is my business, My Soldiers are legion Method Man, N.O.R.E., Capone, Luda, Redman, DMX, you want a shot at me? You gotta make it past these brothers. It's a dangerous world out here, seems every time I turn around there's another young buck wants to take me on. I lay down for no man, you wanna take what's mine, you gotta beat me, but nobody ever beats me.
It's 2023! Indie wrestling developer MDickie is mad at AEW Fight Forever for some reason. Do we have a release date? Not yet.
What we do have is a look back at some terrible ECW games from Acclaim and figure news.
This week, we discuss Paradox Development and Eidos Interactive's Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home and Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes The Neighbourhood. But perhaps more importantly than all that, Mongo has a lot to say about AEW Fight Forever and Ultra Pro Wrestling. Boy howdy, it's a doozy!
Show Note: There will not be a new episode next week due to Christmas.
It's episode eight! Today, we cover the Electronic Arts WCW games. WCW Mayhem and the truly awful, WCW Backstage Assault. Mongo also explains what happened with WCW Mayhem 2 and Backstage Assault for PS2.
Note: This episode was recorded before the Ultra Pro Wrestling AI art debacle. This will be covered next week.
This week it's the WCW games published by THQ. On one hand, you've got the absolutely awful Inland Productions PSX/N64/PC games. On the other hand, you've got the legendary N64 games (and one good PSX game) by AKi. Did you own an N64 or were you stuck with your PSX, watching WCW wrestlers rant and playing as cows, clowns and aliens?
This week we talk the FCI WCW games. We talk a little about the unreleased UWC game, World Championship Wrestling for NES, WCW Main Event for Game Boy and the awful WCW SuperBrawl for SNES. Show me respeck! It's not my fault! We also run down the news of the week and end with figure talk as usual!
It's a rage filled episode! Mongo is mad at Ultra Pro Wrestling! I'm mad at WWE 2K22! We also take a look back at the Legends of Wrestling series which doesn't help matters. Screw Simon Dean!
