Critics w/o Credentials

Strap in because it‘s a packed episode that features Kevin and Chris taking their time further discussing Last Night in Soho and The French Dispatch after Kevin had a chance to see them. The duo also breaks down their feelings on Eternals and Antlers while Chris talks about the upcoming Red Notice and Home Sweet Home Alone along with the quaint rom-com, LoveHard and Kevin goes back into the vault to discuss a dated NBC sitcom, Outsourced.

This week‘s category takes Devin and Chris down two very different paths with one experiencing a wonderful (and long) musical that deserved its Oscar win, who also turns 50 this year, while the other watched an overly dramatic (and horny) portrayal of a tortured painter‘s life.

Chris‘ Choice: A Fiddler on the Roof

Devin‘s Choice: Frida

Devin and Chris reach single digits in weeks left of this year-long exercise and celebrate by choosing films set in college.

Devin‘s Choice: Legally Blonde

Chris‘ Choice: Dead Man on Campus

Kevin returns from his travels to discuss what he‘s been able to watch with Chris. The duo talks spooky watches and some major releases while also looking ahead to what‘s dropping.

In a last-minute maneuver by Chris, the last category was changed to leave everything up to chance as all of the group put one of their film‘s not selected on a virtual wheel for a winner to be chosen. Us was the film that emerged victoriously and served as not only a solid watch to end this season on but also a great discussion from the group.

Also, each member states their MVP and Turd of the entire series! Until next year!

Brace yourselves, because we have yet another DOUBLE FEATURE for one of our Spooky categories. Aww, How Nice is a new category centered around misleading horror titles and both Miguel and Jordan chose two very different films that lead to a great discussion on each. Enjoy!

For this returning category with a new name, Sam Howard takes the group on a journey to Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum in what proves to be a competent Korean horror that truly offers some good scares!

For the 10 entry of this season, Nicole won the category of Hollaback Ghoul, which centers around angry or vengeful spirits, and chose Insidious: Chapter 2 for the group to watch and discuss.

In a surprising twist, Chloe emerged the victor of this storied category and chose, not yet another Child‘s Play movie, but Annabelle Creation which allowed for a very interesting conversation from the group.

Ahhh the infamous holiday of April Fools...Sam Howard swings big with this 80s camp choice - Slaughter High which has the group thinking a very specific way towards it until James comes through with a film fact that breaks the entire conversation open.
