The party leaves the caverns of the Kobolds and tie up loose ends in Deadcairn to depart on the next leg of their journey together.

The party ventures into the pit left by the now fallen Temple of Veruna in search of answers. They meet some of the denizens that dwell below Deadcairn, and gather another piece to the puzzle involving the ancient artifact that sunk the Temple. (Note: There was an audio glitch with Nimueh's microphone in the last half of the episode that was caught too late. Her audio is quietly picked up on other mics, we apologize for the inconvenience.)

The party does some research for Jydris in hopes to learn more about their affliction, at the same time gathering themselves for an expedition into the pit to recover anything left from the once standing Temple of Veruna that collapsed into the dark below.

Our party emerges from the Rat King's lair to find the battle in Deadcairn over. They attend a ceremony to remember the dead and are accompanied by a curious new acquaintance, all the while contemplating which path to follow now that their enemy within the city has seemingly been taken care of.

Our adventurers are thrust into a larger conflict encompassing the city of Deadcairn. During which, they make a powerful new ally and confront an old rival.
