Along the Dalmatian coast today the **bora** has eased off and we’re under a light N–NE breeze, mostly 5–10 knots, with seas staying fairly calm to a slight chop inside the islands. Air temps are sitting in the low 20s Celsius during the day, dropping to mid-teens at night. Skies are mostly clear with some high cloud, so visibility is good and it’s perfect for both morning and evening sessions.

Sunrise along the central coast is around 5:15 in the morning, sunset just after 8:30 in the evening. That gives a long crepuscular window, and that’s when the fish have been most active. The midday bite has been slower on the clear, bright days, especially in the inshore shallows.

Tide in the Adriatic is modest but it matters: a small morning flood and an evening ebb are helping push bait around the points and channel mouths. Work those transition periods when the current starts to move; that’s when the better fish have been coming on the chew.

Inshore, the recent stars have been **sea bass (brancin)**, **gilthead bream (orada)**, **dusky grouper**, and plenty of **small dentex**.
