The servant is

1. Called and named by God

2. Called to bring God's light to the nations

3. Called to suffer

4. Called to share the glory of God

We do not know why there are times when we experience the closeness and protection of God and other times when we experience intense pain, grief, and the absence of God

We do know that with God – however dark it gets - there is hope.
