Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement

-God reveals His ancient plan for the atonement of sinful humans and reconciliation between God and man.

-The atonement for humanity is encoded throughout the Old Testament

Mankind rebelled against God, choosing to do his own will and this breaking the "at-one" status. Sin, destruction, disease and sorrow all entered the world.

God's ideal is that He and humankind are at one with each other, as at creation.

A relationship cannot exist where there is no communication between the two parties; the more communication the better.
