Life can be hard. It’s full of challenges and setbacks. But there is something indestructible about God’s church. If you want to have an indestructible life...you need to know how God builds His indestructible church! Many follow Jesus because a new destination looks more appealing than their current situation. God may use your circumstance to get you into the boat with him...but that’s just the beginning of your journey. So how does Jesus often change us along the way? Storms. Prodigal God Part 3

In the story of The Prodigal Son, we see the father throw the biggest party the family has probably ever seen…and the older brother refuses to join. You see...The party was a demonstration of the father’s love. He wanted both his sons in attendance. The elder son had a choice…would he join the celebration and love what the father loved…or would he remain outside…refusing to go in. Often… we think we are standing on principle…but the father reveals to us…that we were really just standing on pride. This week, Pastor Josh continues our Prodigal God series by sharing insights into the Elder Brother.

When we read the story of Jesus we see something really interesting. We see that people like Jesus…they just don’t like the church. They like the person…but they seem to hate organized religion. However, there are actually two brothers in this story. So in truth…it shouldn’t be called The Prodigal Son…but The Parable of the Two Lost Sons.
