TW: sexual assault
Ever wonder what managing your period, having babies, or being one of many wives is like in a developing country in Africa? Our guest shares about cross-cultural sex and reproductive health conversations and how she supports women in Malawi to manufacture reusable menstrual pads to create income and improve opportunities for menstrual health. Even half the world away, we’re much more similar than we are different.
ABOUT OUR GUEST:
Jennifer is a Seattlite and avid women’s reproductive health volunteer. She sews menstrual pads with women in Malawai, a local group of incarcerated women, and a spunky octogenarians group. She distributes these menstrual kits to women in developed countries where she advocates for sex and reproductive health.
