Yep, it's August in south central Texas. In other words, we are praying fairly regularly for rain. When you think about our faith--our life in Christ--as being fed and nourished by Word and Sacraments, it is a joy to behold and to receive the deep-down, thirsty-soul quenching that comes to us as we feed and feast upon God's Word. That happens again today as we look at the three Psalms that are part of the Rhapsody from the Psalmody!

In his soaring and powerful final chapter of Ephesians, St. Paul encourages us to stand. We do. We stand in the power of God's mighty Word. As followers of Jesus, our lives are never at a standstill. Spend time in Ephesians 6 today with Pastor Fraker.
