CROSS-POD: Transforming Patient Care with a Holistic Approach | That's Derm Good!

Janelle and her team have made patient access their priority, which is a big job. If you're not a doctor and have never heard of a biologic coordinator, I'm not surprised.
These individuals and teams play a critical but often unsung role in navigating the complex, costly, and opaque road from the moment a physician in the U.S. prescribes a biologic medication to the moment the patient finally receives the first dose.
While our conversation is about my approach to holistic care within dermatology rather than the specific role of the biologic coordinator, it's important to remember the role biologic coordinators play so we can recognize and properly value the work they do.
