God has never intended for his movement to be for one people group. He wants it to be something extended to every tongue, every sex, every social class, every race, and every nation.

God chose the unlikeliest person to carry the message of Christianity out of Jerusalem. But it is thanks to this man's simple telling of the gospel that Christianity continues as a movement today.

Are we practicing safe Christianity? Or bold Christianity? Rather than being a group of safe believers, the early Christians looked for opportunities to be bold.

We pray for safety, for success, for comfort, but how often do we pray for boldness? This was the prayer of the early church and it should be our prayer today.

Is the church a building? A location? An obligation? Or is it something more dynamic? The early church was a movement, and it's still on the move today.

In spite of some of the Christians you’ve met or done business with, in spite of revivals and scandals, in spite of how you view the Bible, and in spite of your church experience, you should consider putting your faith in Jesus as your Savior. Why? It has nothing to do with your personal experience and everything to do with history’s greatest mystery.

Sometimes in our desire to be polite, kind, or helpful, we miss something even more important: being honest. Relationships where “yes” means “yes” and “no” means “no” can help us avoid a lot of relationship problems.

Every conflict in the history of the world boils down to one basic problem: someone won’t get their way. It doesn’t have to be the end of the world or a relationship, though.
