This message is out of the 2nd half of the book of Job. Submitting ourselves to God in the hard times is never easy, but it is what builds our faith in God and our character.

What is the theology of suffering? How do we deal with suffering in our own lives? Do we bow to worship God when we hit times of trial and suffering just because He is God? Do we have that kind of relationship with God? That kind of understanding of who God is? This week we are in the book of Job.

Teaching out of Acts about the Role and the Person of the Holy Spirit. How does this fit into our lives and into the Church at large today?

Testimony of Restoration and Faith.

Teaching though the restoration (Ezra/Nehemiah); demonstrate how all of God's disciplinary action in our lives is directly related to the end goal of restoration and healing.

The cycles of building, abandoning, reforming the temple…Solomon, Joash, Hezekiah, Josiah, the Glory of God filling the temple upon its completion and God’s words to Solomon (2 Chronicles 7), and how we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

David and his casual treatment of the Ark; David and his desire to build the temple; continue to emphasize a passion for holiness (sanctification and commitment) in our acts of worship.

II Kings speaks much about the temple and worship. How does this apply to us today? We as believers have a responsibility to worship with the body. There is a responsibility we have to come prepared on a Sunday to worship.
