Publisher's Summary:
The trail leads from Iraq to London, Dublin, and ultimately Kabul: the dark and brutal city where governments, terrorism, and big business inexorably collide. Caught in the crossfire, Stone's nightmare is only just beginning: for the hunter has suddenly become the hunted, in a heart-stopping race against time.
Unrelentingly violent, harrowing, and chillingly graphic as it hurtles us towards a truly shocking climax, Nick Stone's 10th adventure is high-voltage, pulse-pounding, no-holds-barred McNab: prose so testosterone-drenched, action so blisteringly paced, it could only have been penned by the master thriller writer at his electrifying, un-put-downable best.

More excitement from McNab
I'm an easy mark for this guy. I have been reading his stuff since his first book, Bravo Two Zero. Very entertaining stuff. I really enjoy his style of story telling. This book is a real page turner. Even though these books are fiction, they have the feel that they could just as well be true. I burned through this particular book in 2 days, and promptly read it again. I would recommend reading the Nick Stone stories in order if you haven't, when you get to this one you'll know more about the characters.
Four Stars
Full of action and suspense.
Crossfire
I enjoyed reading Crossfire, but I've read quite a few McNab books & I think the other ones I've read were much better. Still worth a read though.
Excellent!
Love all the Andy Mcnab Nick Stone books! he gets his ass kicked, hes not the most handsome guy, hes a soldier with a heart of gold though he tries hard not to show it! scenery and locales are great, I almost feel like Im there!!!! Great book!
Captures the atmpsphere perfectly
Another excellent story, this time set in Dublin and Afghanistan. There is a real sense of what it is like in Afghanistan overlayed with even more mystery and intrigue than usual. Very good actions scenes as you would expect but the end was rather short and a bit of an anti-climax and would have been better if more time had been spent on this. There was a sense of running out of space and rushing to get it finished.
