Martha Masters is a concert guitarist, full time teacher and President of the Guitar Foundation of America. Being in charge of the largest guitar convention in the world is challenging enough, but what does one do when a global pandemic hits just three months before the opening concert? I wanted to find out and got to have a great, one hour conversation with Martha about that, the American guitar scene and many other interesting things.

French guitarist Thibaut Garcia won the GFA competition at the age of 21 and has since been stunning audiences with his effortless virtuosity and musicianship. In this episode we talk performance, teaching, recording and practicing to become the best.
