Hebrews 11 gives us a powerful picture of individuals who believed in God and His Word. At first glance, it may seem strange to see Enoch listed in this chapter. Faith is a vital part of the Christian’s life. Without faith, one can’t be saved from their sins, have assurance of the promises of God, or please Him in their lives. While there are numerous public expressions of faith that we tend to focus on, we are reminded in this message that God is looking at the heart. Our private demonstrations of faith communicate more than we realize. Listen today to learn how you, too, can live by faith and experience the greater things the Lord has in store.

Text: Esther 1:1 - 10:3
We welcome Pastor John Welborn, Crosslink’s former Lead Pastor, who is now serving at Salem Church in Staten Island, NY! Pastor John brings a message challenging our church to examine how we are to steward the influence that God has given us. He uses the example of Esther - preaching a narrative sermon through the entire 10 chapters of the book! From Esther’s example, we can learn that we are loved and accepted by God, that we are called to use our God-given influence for the Lord's glory, and to shine the light of Christ in our world.
John Welborn was called to be the Senior Pastor of Salem Church in Staten Island, New York on October 30, 2015, but his passion for the city and ministry through Salem date back long before that. For nearly a decade, Pastor John and his wife, Ashley, have been leading outreach teams to Staten Island to assist the ministry of Salem, and were key leaders during the crisis of Superstorm Sandy. Prior to being called to Salem, he was Lead Pastor of Crosslink Community Church for seven years and served as an evangelist for seven years before that. Follow Pastor John on Twitter @JWWelborn.
