With the 8th message in our series, Be Perfect, Pastor Blake teaches from James 2 and makes an important distinction. Your works do not prove or determine your status as it relates to salvation but if you have received saving faith then it should drive you to do good works to solve people's problems. Sometimes saying "I'll pray for you" is not enough we have to demonstrate our faith by action.

As we continue our series in the book of 1 Corinthians we look at chapter 15. Your maturity level will be defined by your perspective on eternity. Pastor Blake teaches on 1st Corinthians 15:50-58.

With the 7th message in our series, Be Perfect on the book of James, Pastor Royce Robinson teaches from James 2:8-13 on Perfect Love, Perfect Living. Perfect love looks a certain way and God has an expectation on how we need to display love in our lives.

With the sixth message in our series, Be Perfect on the book of James, Pastor Bake teaches from James 2:1-7 on Perfect Perspective. God is not a God who shows partiality or is a respecter of persons. We look at the issue of classism in the church and how God informs us to treat people.

With the fifth message in our series Be Perfect, Pastor Blake teaches from James 1:26-27. God’s word lays out exactly what “perfect religion” looks like and we must understand perfect religion is defined by our contaminated perception of ourselves and our corrupt communication to and about others. God’s definition of religion versus our own definition.

With the fourth message in our series Be Perfect, Pastor Blake teaches from James 1:19-26 on how God has not only prepared us for every trial but now is the time that God is calling us to take action. We must control our attitude and actions when we are in a trial. As we move toward maturity we must also put behind us anything that hinders us from hearing the word and applying it to our lives.

With our third message in our series Be Perfect we continue in the book of James. Pastor Blake Wilson teaches from James 1:12-18 on the difference between a trial and a temptation. Temptations do not come from God but instead, come from our own internal desires.

Temptation is our lustful internal motivations desiring things outside God's will. Trials are situations to be put to the test, an experiment that involves calamity or affliction that is designed as an authentic proving ground.

With our second message in our series Be Perfect we continue in the book of James. Reggie Holiday teaches from James 1:5-11 about how we should pray. Our prayers should contain elements of applying biblical wisdom, lifting faith over doubt and finding contentment in our current position. If you lack wisdom then pray but think about how you go about praying.

This week we begin a new series called Be Perfect. This series is a follow up to the Perfect Church series. Pastor Blake teaches from James 1:1-4 about the fact that God is calling all believers to become perfect through a process which strengthens their endurance for trails.
