This week for our Emmaus Experience bible study we continue 1 Peter 5. Pastor Blake teaches on humbling yourself before God and understand that Satan roams around like a defeated and wounded lion but does not have the same power as the Lion of Judah.

With the fourth message in our series Pastor Blake teaches from 1 Thessalonians about how crucial it is to follow the Word of God over all other advice.

As we continue with our study in the book of 1 &2 Peter, we focus on 1 Peter 5. Pastor Blake teaches about the position and purpose of deacons, overseers and shepherds as it relates to the body of Christ and the church.

With the third message in our series Pastor Blake teaches from the book of James. When listening to the Word of God everyone will do 1 of 2 things: they will be a hearer or a doer of the Word. Become a Doer.

As we continue our series for the Emmaus Experience bible study we travel through the last teaching in the book of 1 Peter. We look at how as Christians we should suffer for Christ's sake and not because of our own foolishness.

With the second message in our new series for 2015 Pastor Blake teaches on the parable of two houses, one house built on the rock and the other house built on the sand. When you hear the word of God are you going to be wise or are you going to be a fool?

With the first bible study of 2015 we return to our series in 1 Peter. Pastor Blake teaches on 1 Peter 4:7-11 and reminds us that we are living in the present for the future therefore our Christlike character should be shown in our deeds as we promote, love, hospitality and serve with the spiritual gifts that God gives.

With the first message of 2015 we begin a new series Is There a word from the Lord? Pastor Blake teaches from Isaiah 40 about how in the new year you will need the Word of God more than ever. Do not allow your opinion to supersede what the Word of the Lord says.

The last bible study of 2014 for the Emmaus Experience is focused on the goodness of the Lord but also recognizing that there is affliction head but the Lord will keep us.

With another message in our series "Close Encounters with God," Pastor Blake teaches from Matthew 4 during the last worship service of 2014. Jesus wants us to prioritize His Person so that we will live out our purpose.
