Followers of Jesus are citizens of God’s kingdom before we are citizens of any particular country on earth, and that makes us strangers, exiles, aliens—it makes us a bit peculiar.

We all base our lives on some kind of gospel—some form of good news. Counterfeit gospels never lead to life. But Jesus points us to the true, life-giving gospel message.

Followers of Jesus are living proof of the transforming power of Jesus, and we are called to share the message of good news—the gospel—with the people God has placed in our lives.
