As we continued our study in 1 Peter on Sunday we unpacked Peter's teaching on the power of submission. Using our relationship to government, workplace and marriage Peter outlined why God calls us to humbly submit to leaders He has placed over us.

This week Pastor Josh outlined specific instructions from 1 Peter 2:11-12 on how to live in the world without the world living in us.

In 1 Peter 2:4-10 Peter encourages the church to understand her status and ministry as Living Stones who proclaim the good news of God's saving power. "God's people are God's temple in the world." This week we unpacked what this means for us as a local church.
