Evangelism in the book of Acts-Personal Evangelism 潘智翔牧師 Rev. Justin Pan: Christians have often assumed that evangelism means verbally sharing the entire saving gospel message with a person. Yet, being in the liberal Bay Area where many are skeptical or even hostile towards the gospel, we often bemoan the fact that we can’t engage in aggressive, open evangelism. Nevertheless, reading the Book of Acts may help one find that the early Christians used many methods to share the gospel with pagan people. In this sermon series 5 different evangelistic strategies or encounters are revealed. These were not planned but given or shaped by the Lord to save tens of thousands the people who were idol worshippers. These evangelistic methods are and should be applied to our evangelistic effort in the Bay Area as well. I want this series to be an inspiration for us living in a “pagan” territory to learn, apply and adapt these principles into our missional life as well as church outreach mentality, unleashing more people for positive and effective witness.
