You can't have an authentic relationship with someone if you are only in it for what you can get out of it. Are you just here for the food, or are you here for something far greater?

Sometimes we blame people for the place we are in our lives. Sometimes we are stuck, but sometimes God has us stuck in motion.

The purpose of the roar of the lion is to paralyze his prey – to terrorize them – to leave them helpless in fear. Animals that have the ability to escape forget to run because they are paralyzed with fear when they hear the lion’s roar.

If the enemy is seeking someone he may devour, the implication is that there is someone he may not devour.

People with unshakable faith are inspiring! They’ve been to hell and back, but they still have joy! They still have peace! It doesn't even make sense. Sometimes you wonder if they're in denial, but they're not! They just trust God in spite of the circumstances and their story is inspiring.

Trusting in Jesus has been a response to evidence not simply hoping something is true. The gospel writer John referred to the signs that give evidence of who Jesus was. The first sign John documents is when Jesus’ mother told him to turn water into wine.

Once we accept Christ into our lives what is next? Do we continue to come to church and listen to the word but make no changes? There is an alternative lifestyle that we should all strive to live.

Standard of living and Quality of life have been thought to be the same thing in our society. Just because we make more money doesn't mean we have to spend more money. Creating margin in our finances creates freedom in our lives.

Sometimes the most important things can get overlooked because of the lack of margin we have in our lives. What is most essential is most important.

Margin has to be created in our time. Making time for God, and Family is getting more difficult as our world gets more chaotic. Nobody ever wishes they would have worked more at the end of their life...
