New Year, New Me. We all make promises for the New Year, but what if we are supposed to take some things with us? We can leave behind our wounds .... but what about our scars?

Sometimes we can't make sense of events that take place in our lives. We want everything to fit together so we can understand how the big picture is taking shape. When tragedy and trouble come, we struggle to find the purpose. The Christmas Story is the perfect example of how random events can show us the greater purpose.

Many groups today will try to discredit the birth of Jesus....He IS the Reason for this season and his birth is a historical event unlike any other.

How do we navigate the Christmas season with joy when we are hurting so bad inside? Is it even possible? We don't often think about the family of Jesus; however, they lived through many high's and lows when He was with them. It was a roller-coaster ride of good days and bad. Ultimately, the heartbreak and pain gave way to the ultimate celebration of life.

Is it possible for two people to stay in love forever? Society says it isn't like, so how can we make love a verb?

It's important to understand how we act will someday mirror how our children act. What can we do to ensure that our kids grow up with a great moral compass?
