High Priestly Prayer
John 17: 9, 20 NKJV9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
Hebrews 7:25 NKJV25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

II. Why is Jesus Praying for Us?
Verse 11 Jesus tells us why He is praying for us. He says, “And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one.”
Jesus prays for us because we are in this world but not of this world.
Jude verse 24 says, 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy
John 13:35 NKJV Jesus said, “By this all will know that you are my disciples, that you have love for one another.”
Jesus prays for us because He knows we need each another.
Verse 15 Jesus says, “I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.”
Verse 18 answers the question. “As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.”
Jesus prays for us because we have a purpose to fulfill
